The Advanced Certificate Course on Animal Protection Laws, offered by the Centre for Environmental Law & Policy (CELP) at the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, is a pioneering initiative—the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. This comprehensive online program equips participants with in-depth knowledge of animal welfare laws, prevention of cruelty, wildlife conservation, and national/international policy frameworks.

Delivered entirely online in English, the course spans 6 months and is designed to be accessible yet rigorous. It caters to students, professionals, advocates, NGO workers, and anyone passionate about animal protection.
